Well, it is quite common custom in my country to gift something useful on special occasions to friends. And here I would like to talk about my friend, Simran, who’s birthday is coming the next week. We know each other for almost ten years now and always gift each other something useful on birthdays as gifts help in strengthening the friendship. Since, his birthday is just around the corner, I’m planning to gift him something special. I will give him a French language learning book which I’m going to order online as it is not available in book stores in my city. The reason behind choosing this gift is he is moving to Canada with his family next month. Since, French is the commonly spoken language in Canada, this book would really help in to learn the common phrases. He can read this book anytime and can also carry it along and use it in Canada also. Everytime he will read this book, he will think about me and this way we will remain connected despite being in different countries. Yet another reason is that my parents do not allow me to buy expensive items to gift to friends, so a book is something they would be very happy with. After placing an order,I will receive book in few days which I’ll place in a card box along with a friendship card and wrap it beautifully with gift papers. I’m sure that my friend would be very happy to receive the gift which would actually benefit him for long time. Overall, it is something that I’m planning to gift to my friend.
