Well, our parents and seniors always try to teach us important lessons of life but still there are few things that we learn from our mistakes. Here I would like to narrate an incident when I met an accident and got badly injured for committing a blunder. I vividly remember I was almost fifteen years old. Most teenagers of my age are curious to ride motor bikes. I requested my father many times to teach me how to ride a bike but he always refused to do so and warned me not to try until you turn 18 as it is the legal age in my country to ride a vehicle. I always used to keep on thinking and dreaming riding a bike at full speed. One day, I was home alone as my parents were out of town. I took it as an opportunity and invited one of my friends at home and out of curiosity we took the bike on the main road. I was driving it comfortably with my friend sitting behind and all of a sudden, we met an accident at an intersection due to over speeding my leg got fractured and I was rushed to a hospital. Luckily my friend escaped any major injury. My parents also arrived as soon as they received the news and they were really concerned. At this point my father was very angry for not obeying him but he was controlling his anger somehow. This was the time when I apologised my father and felt sorry whole-heartedly and said I have learnt the lesson and now I will think about riding a bike only when I will turn 18 and will have enough maturity to handle a vehicle safely on road.
